After we came to our old friend's wedding in Dak Nong. We decided to have a night at a secret cabin, that located deed into the wood. We had to go 7km off-roads to come to this place.

It's such a very nice place, nice atmosphere, It has a view to a valley. The weather is quite cool at night but we enjoyed it so much. We had a small BBQ party with beers and friends. Such an amazing experience!

Topography: Dak Nong Province is located in the southwest of Central region with the average height of 500m above sea level. Terrain is relatively flat, a large plateau with pastures stretching to the east. Lower terrain to the west, leaning Cambodia division, and the south is the domain of many low-lying lakes. There are major river systems: Ba river, Serepok (the branch of Krong Bong, Krong Pak, Krong Ana, Krong No) and some other small rivers, many high waterfall, large hydropower.

Dak Nong has flat cultivated surface, mainly bazan so the province has the advantage for industrial tree especially coffee tree.

Climate: The weather in Dak Nong is quite temperate. The average temperature is 24oC. The dry season extends from November to April following year. It is windy, cold and dry. The rainy season lasts from May to October with high amount of rainfall.

Tourism: Dak Nong is suitable for tourists who like discovering superb natural fall scenery because this province possesses many spectacular waterfalls. Coming to Dray Nur Waterfall, one can hear the murmur sound of its flow from afar, and coming nearer, the sound becomes roaring. In Gia Long Waterfall, the flow is much smoother. Its stream does not flock into one side but gently passes through stones, tree roots and then runs to rivers. Apart of that, let save your time to visit Dray Sap Waterfall (Misty Waterfall), Ba Tang, and Dieu Thanh waterfalls. It is also highly recommended to visit Pu Prang M’nong Village where still preserves many unique M’nong cultural features, works of folk literature such as: the anthem, the epic…

In Dak Nong, M’nong people organize the New Rice Ceremony at the beginning of August when paddy ripens, signaling a bumper crop. According to M’nong culture, the New Rice Ceremony is usually held in the evening.

Transportation: Dak Nong has transportation mainly by road. Gia Nghia Town is 245km from Ho Chi Minh City by National Highway No. 14 then No.13, 84km from Di Linh (Lam Dong) by National Highway No. 28, 179km from Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan) by National Highway No. 28, and 125km from Buon Ma Thuot (Dak Lak) by National Highway No. 14.
